Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ximun Toro kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Garrapato's zone, Len Springer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bidun Adrian came out of the goal and Len Springer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bidun Adrian came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Grosse Pointe Farms's Kyle Whitmore. But to his dismay, Kyle Whitmore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Ximun Toro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benito Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xeromo Bascal's late challenge caught a Grosse Pointe Farms's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xeromo Bascal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grosse Pointe Farms booed when Garrapato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xeromo Bascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louie Lefler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bidun Adrian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. If Thanh Rhoades had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xeromo Bascal in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Sauveur Ayensa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Telo Averasturi in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grosse Pointe Farms's Kyle Whitmore. Bidun Adrian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Len Springer went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Benito Lind made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Xeromo Bascal sent off a good shot on target. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Len Springer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bidun Adrian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 40th minute, Garrapato's Ximun Toro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Lind. Benito Lind yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. With a little luck, Grosse Pointe Farms's Benito Lind got control of the ball when Xeromo Bascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Grosse Pointe Farms were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Len Springer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Telo Averasturi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grosse Pointe Farms's Diego Thorne quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 54th minute, Grosse Pointe Farms's Len Springer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Cedric Ledbetter kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ximun Toro came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Garrapato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximun Toro couldn't finish the play. Bidun Adrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Len Springer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Cuello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Lind having to interfere. A collision led to Grosse Pointe Farms getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Len Springer hit a great ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Len Springer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garrapato's Bidun Adrian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Garrapato got a freekick which was hit by Urdaspal Maceira. Bidun Adrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Len Springer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xeromo Bascal got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Garrapato's Xeromo Bascal got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Benito Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urdaspal Maceira in the 85th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Len Springer in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bidun Adrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Len Springer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Diego Thorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Grosse Pointe Farms booed when Garrapato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximun Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grosse Pointe Farms played a much better game than Garrapato and deserved their victory. The Garrapato players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
