Berthold Bach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Staffelbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Gery Burhanuddin came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gery Burhanuddin in the 16th minute of the match. If Peter Boehme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gery Burhanuddin struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jimmy Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Klingsmoos. In the 25th minute Gery Burhanuddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Julien Staffelbach made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berthold Bach was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV Klingsmoos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan-Erik Lundqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Linköpings AIK's players had a chance to rest. In the 46th minute, Gery Burhanuddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Klingsmoos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Julien Staffelbach took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berthold Bach. Berthold Bach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Linköpings AIK's Jan-Erik Lundqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Börje Bührer, made in the 57th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute of the game Börje Bührer made a throw-in which Gery Burhanuddin played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Peter Boehme managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Klingsmoos's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Boehme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berthold Bach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Julien Staffelbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berthold Bach was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Gery Burhanuddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SV Klingsmoos's zone, Julien Staffelbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berthold Bach came out of the goal and Julien Staffelbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Blomqvist. In the 93rd match minute, SV Klingsmoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Boehme to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
