Rüştü Rencber was a little too slow when Curcio Alonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when KS Mleczne Wieśniaki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Jaroch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Geeraerts in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to KS Mleczne Wieśniaki getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sebastian Czeszejko hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Potter came free, but Generoso Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rüştü Rencber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Alonso in the 24th minute of the match. Chico Viejo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Potter in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Alonso in the 39th minute of play forced KS Mleczne Wieśniaki's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüştü Rencber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Véber in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Tworek got free with Generoso Beloki in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Martin Batalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Rencber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans cheered their team off the field, for while KS Mleczne Wieśniaki had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
