Oriche Vega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Acebal in the 23rd minute of the match. Haitz Langarica was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Leonid Malafeev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonid Malafeev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Krasnodar FC's zone, Lauro Acebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oriche Vega came out of the goal and Lauro Acebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Echavarria kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrey Aganin. After having played for 40 minutes, Lauro Acebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Aragua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro Acebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Gennadiy Demyanenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haitz Langarica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Lauro Acebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oriche Vega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Atletico Aragua FC made a substitution. Viviano Omente replaced Bizi Faubelo. Krasnodar FC's Oriche Vega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Krasnodar FC from getting a goal against them. Haitz Langarica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Serdyuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 67 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Echavarria. Haitz Langarica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gennadiy Demyanenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Nunez-Tesheira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krasnodar FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
