With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 16 in the game by Angelo Grabiel from a close distance when the talented Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov managed to make a qualified save. Azerbaijan's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Weets got free with Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daşdämir Albändiyev in the 21st minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Azerbaijan's goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Grabiel. Roberto Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Äşräf Ämrahov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 42nd minute, Äliqulu Vermäliyev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Äşräf Ämrahov in the 44th minute of the match. River de Ramos Mejía's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
