Leonardo Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Atakan Pepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Rickard Alefors got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atakan Pepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Holm in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Leonardo Trancoso put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Norberg. After a defensive mix-up in spikarna's zone, Mats Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Norberg came out of the goal and Mats Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Kaj Hård tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Sven Nordkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Souza. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Hugo Eden hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 42nd minute of play. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaj Hård in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Hård was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner. Mats Hermansson went to the cornerflag to take it. spikarna's Lars Norberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save spikarna from getting a goal against them. Martin Mutumba hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Atakan Pepe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Ekrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Martin Mutumba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. With a little luck, spikarna's Lars Norberg got control of the ball when Martin Mutumba tried to sneak it across the goal line. spikarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atakan Pepe in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on spikarna's corner Atakan Pepe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcus Ekrot quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sven Nordkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. spikarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Nordkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund replaced Martin Mutumba. spikarna's Lars Norberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save spikarna from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Berart in the 95th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vykans Vikingar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
