The audience thought a goal was coming when Fresco Sesse got free with Pål Sefastsson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Carlos Alberto Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Ifrim got free with Pål Sefastsson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson got control of the ball when Adriano Croti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pål Sefastsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fresco Sesse in the 17th minute. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Ifrim in the 19th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes Denis Ifrim shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Pål Sefastsson when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Emil Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Toscano in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 31st minute of play forced Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Jean-Baptiste charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Jean-Baptiste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Karl-Oskar Björkdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Hägg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fresco Sesse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Ifrim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Melander got free with Emil Hägg in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Ifrim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. National Team Cape-Verde's Bennvar Post was substituted for Carlos Alberto Tevez. Bajenland's Jonathan Lindsten was substituted for Adriano Croti. Bajenland made a substitution. Wilhelm Alstedt replaced Silvério Toscano. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Klas Bergqvist replaced Fredric Melander. After 69 minutes National Team Cape-Verde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walter Jean-Baptiste who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Denis Ifrim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pål Sefastsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Denis Ifrim put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pål Sefastsson. In the 72nd minute, Wang Bing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Klas Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Bajenland got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Alstedt. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Ifrim in the 81st minute of the match. If Wilhelm Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Lindsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Sefastsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Lindsten ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute Denis Ifrim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Wilhelm Alstedt made a precise shot to the right of Pål Sefastsson. National Team Cape-Verde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when Bajenland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Ifrim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bajenland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Bennvar Post scored to the left of an out of position Emil Hägg, making the score, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the National Team Cape-Verde players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bajenland.
