In the 16th minute Jose Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Henrik Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hermansson in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Tevez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. National Team Cape-Verde were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vykans Vikingar for a fine match.
