After 13 minutes The Shadows's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mao Jun Yun who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Basso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Bambas in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Argyris Papapetrou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Basso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abdulkerim Türköne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 32nd minute of the match. Karl-Michael Kristiansson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcos Basso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. Strömsbro IF's Georg Glad quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ke Xi Sheng, made in the 38th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Argyris Papapetrou made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Basso. The Shadows's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 43rd match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Allbom to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Rıza Vuralhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Igor Bambas made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Basso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hamid Dame hit a great ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Shadows's Torgny Söderström was substituted for Slawomir Cisek. The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist was substituted for Abdulkerim Türköne. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Holmgren in the 82nd minute of play. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Von Axelson in the 88th minute of the match. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Strömsbro IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Strömsbro IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
