But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmin Donecea couldn't finish the play. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Maradona in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Cantona in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Oskar Söderström saved Scrotum Kickers FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Erik Cantona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teun van Alst hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boguslaw Domamir during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Saga TF booed when Scrotum Kickers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Domamir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Falkrantz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. He Kun Zheng made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gonzalo Maradona immediately put the ball in play. Erik Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Oskar Söderström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Oskar Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Scrotum Kickers FC booed when Saga TF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santi Urbieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Maradona in the 46th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Erik Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Joachim Forseth came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Scrotum Kickers FC's Boguslaw Domamir. But to his dismay, Boguslaw Domamir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Erik Cantona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Oskar Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 92nd minute of play.
