The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Lidköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 高城竞 in the 4th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Lidköping got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Larsfelt. Henrik Möllgren struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Kristoffer Västerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Ambrosini. Aaron Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Stefan Bogren sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lidköping's zone, Valter Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Västerstrand came out of the goal and Valter Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Glanselius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam Mårtensson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Bogren in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Glanselius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Mårtensson in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Stefan Bogren could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Aaron Glanselius however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 22nd minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lidköping getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Adam Mårtensson hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Bogren. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by SSC Ambrosini's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Björk was slow to take the kick. During this time Lidköping's players had a chance to rest. In the 41st minute Henrik Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Västerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Mårtensson to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristoffer Västerstrand. That made the score 1-2 after 51 minutes of play. Henrik Möllgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Västerstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Kristoffer Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match SSC Ambrosini got a corner. Lidköping's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 高城竞 ran over to the corner to take the kick. 高城竞 made a great header on SSC Ambrosini's corner, it was just that Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand managed to reach the ball for a save. After 69 played minutes Lidköping got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Larsfelt. SSC Ambrosini made a substitution. Dylan Draper replaced 高城竞. In the 75th minute Stefan Bogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Henrik Möllgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Stefan Bogren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aaron Glanselius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute Anthony Eadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Eadie in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
