Göran Cane scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Ekrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Hermansson in the 21st minute of play. Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Svartvallstjärnens IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernan Berart took the corner. After 26 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Mats Hermansson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
