Karol Magdziarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Basso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute BK Tåfjutt were awarded a corner. Kosmas Charalambakis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BK Tåfjutt's Kosmas Charalambakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Basso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Magdziarz in the 25th minute of the match. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Niklas Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ipswich Traktor Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while BK Tåfjutt had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
