An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 15th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Hugo Eden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Olov Wahlnäs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Keegan in the 26th minute of play. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Eden, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Olov Wahlnäs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Mutumba in the 30th minute. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Eden in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Eden in the 35th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Berart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Wahlnäs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice moves Kevin Keegan could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Marcus Ekrot however easily saved by the left post. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Berart in the 57th minute of play. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Chen Ao Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mutumba in the 68th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Marcus Ekrot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
