After 4 played minutes Kattvik kings got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dobrea. Jürgen Trittin took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damian Dobrea's late challenge caught a Ipswich Traktor Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Dobrea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kattvik kings getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Damian Dobrea hit a great ball. Alvar Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Gibowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkerim Türköne got free with Alvar Arvidsson in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Trittin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Şenel Zeval got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alvar Arvidsson came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipswich Traktor Boys's Abdulkerim Türköne. But to his dismay, Abdulkerim Türköne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kattvik kings's zone, Pawel Gibowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Arvidsson came out of the goal and Pawel Gibowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slawomir Cisek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvar Arvidsson having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Jürgen Trittin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Ipswich Traktor Boys's Abdulkerim Türköne made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvar Arvidsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jürgen Trittin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Basso saved Ipswich Traktor Boys from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Trittin in the 38th minute of play forced Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Jürgen Trittin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Basso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Ipswich Traktor Boys booed when Kattvik kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mala Cara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Kattvik kings from getting a goal against them. If John Bratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Jürgen Trittin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Basso was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Trittin in the 53rd minute of play forced Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulkerim Türköne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alvar Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes Kattvik kings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herbert Holmgren who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ipswich Traktor Boys's Bastian Von Axelson to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvar Arvidsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alvar Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkerim Türköne in the 60th minute of play. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulkerim Türköne in the 64th minute of play. Abdulkerim Türköne struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alvar Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipswich Traktor Boys. Ipswich Traktor Boys made a substitution. Rasmus Bark replaced Pawel Gibowski. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ipswich Traktor Boys from getting a goal against them. The nice shot from John Bratt in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marcos Basso had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 74th minute Herbert Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John Bratt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Marcos Basso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Ipswich Traktor Boys defense, Jürgen Trittin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Basso. The Ipswich Traktor Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Basso should have stopped the shot. Long Zhan Quan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Niklas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kattvik kings defense, Niklas Lundqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Arvidsson. The Kattvik kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Arvidsson should have stopped the shot.
