Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. Though ot was a great shot Skövde AIK's keeper Olov Wahlnäs was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Norström in the 16th minute of the match. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renzo Ingelborgs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ulf Nordlander sent off a good shot on target. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Jonasson. In the 32nd minute of the match, Henric Persson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olov Wahlnäs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ni Kun Jian to maneuver through the defense. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Nordlander in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chen Ao Fan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brazilio Butt saved DIF LEEDS BK from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Brazilio Butt made a huge save. Olov Wahlnäs came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by DIF LEEDS BK's Henric Persson. But to his dismay, Henric Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jerry Jonasson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Wahlnäs. Olov Wahlnäs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Hans Petersson got a free kick in the 65th minute. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Jerry Williams replaced Kurt Hamrin. In the 67th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Petersson to maneuver through the defense. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pál Kormos in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Jonasson in the 71st minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Kevin Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Pál Kormos made a precise shot to the right of Olov Wahlnäs. Skövde AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 82nd minute, Knut Rudberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Knut Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pál Kormos in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Wahlnäs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Brolin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DIF LEEDS BK's Jonas Lundström was substituted for Eliézer Nascimento. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DIF LEEDS BK had won after a very even match.
