SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Jonasson in the 14th minute of play. Jerry Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Springfält stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Adrian Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Jonasson in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Ulf Nordlander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Springfält made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Lidman. In the 28th minute, Gunnar Hellström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SJÖARED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Henric Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Springfält having to interfere. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Gustafsson in the 41st minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Nordlander in the 42nd minute of play forced SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIF LEEDS BK's Eduardo Selmo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. DIF LEEDS BK were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after SJÖARED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Selmo took the corner. The corner led DIF LEEDS BK's Eduardo Selmo to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrian Springfält despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gunnar Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. SJÖARED's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazilio Butt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SJÖARED's Ola Hansson was substituted for Tim Hellbom. Henric Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Isak Qvarnström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Brazilio Butt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SJÖARED made a substitution. Urban Rudberg replaced Vilhelm Lidman. 74 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Gustafsson came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Rudberg came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Göransson in the 86th minute of the match. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Sture Göransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brazilio Butt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. SJÖARED were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DIF LEEDS BK for a fine match.
