When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Henry Fagerberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Linus Ahlquist. After having played for 36 minutes, Per Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Tunström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Göran Cane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Gunnarsson was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.
