Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitaliy van der Aa started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennvar Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Post got free with Su Peng Jian in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bennvar Post could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Su Peng Jian made a huge save. After 23 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Verner Wahlnäs. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Watarz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Su Peng Jian. Tymoteusz Watarz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The throw-in from Roger Magnusson in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by National Team Cape-Verde's Roland Björklund. In the 34th minute, Roland Björklund fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Wahlnäs in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bennvar Post managed to get in a good position for a shot. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Bennvar Post was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Su Peng Jian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Jouni Markkula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Klas Bergqvist replaced Fredric Melander. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klas Bergqvist was the one to do the kick off. GrassNuts FC's Roger Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Tevez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Su Peng Jian. GrassNuts FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto Tevez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 56th minute, Brian Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Watarz in the 65th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Tevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Su Peng Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Vitaliy van der Aa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Verner Wahlnäs managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Carlos Alberto Tevez might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Peng Jian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Alberto Tevez ran back to his position shaking his head. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 80th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Su Peng Jian was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Verner Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klas Bergqvist in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Su Peng Jian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by GrassNuts FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Klas Bergqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time National Team Cape-Verde's players had a chance to rest. National Team Cape-Verde's Klas Bergqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Su Peng Jian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
