With his leg Magne Gunnarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 17th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes National Team Cape-Verde got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Örnberg. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by National Team Cape-Verde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per Stenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest.
