Jeferson de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Thomas's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 19 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Amorim. Jeferson de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Thomas in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Ligeiro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson de Queirós. Ligeiro F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 26 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Cordeiro notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ligeiro F.C's Jeferson de Queirós. Jeferson de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Jeferson de Queirós. Ligeiro F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Jeferson de Queirós came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 40 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson de Queirós. After 44 minutes Ligeiro F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodolfo Cordeiro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Santa Maradona's corner Miguel Transito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeferson de Queirós quite easily take care of the ball. When Santa Maradona's Rigoberto Thomas in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ligeiro F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Adelino Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Errapel having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Hakkı Kenan Ushan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. 58 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Thomas came free, but Jeferson de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson de Queirós came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. In the 63rd minute, Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-10. The Santa Maradona fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulão Godoi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Thomas let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 70th minute shot 1-12 at rihgt post. After 72 minutes, Rodolfo Cordeiro made it 1-13 with a short kick to the right side. Ligeiro F.C's Jeferson de Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rigoberto Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Maradona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
