Niculae Martinescu succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Martinescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Valdir Pérez made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Martinescu got free with Valdir Pérez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdir Pérez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilvan Pombal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Joaquín Guzmán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niculae Martinescu. If Roberto Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner. José Augusto Lara went to the cornerflag to take it. Niculae Martinescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Roberto Lopes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdir Pérez came out and tried to block the shot, but Roberto Lopes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Roberto Lopes lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Valdir Pérez. With his leg Valdir Pérez managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes. But to his dismay, Roberto Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olivier Gilg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Martinescu during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of União Verde FC booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Martinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Niculae Martinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdir Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 71 minutes into the match, Niculae Martinescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niculae Martinescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 75 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the game, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Joaquín Guzmán nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Martinescu in the 89th minute of play. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Joaquín Guzmán made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that DIPLOMATA FC PAB were the better team. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
