The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Alvi Verde:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Que se abra o mar:s goal. In the 6th minute, Peker Suersan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sandro Tepedino. The goal made the score 1-0. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Que se abra o mar from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Alvi Verde defense, Tato Vega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Leite. The Alvi Verde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Leite should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Que se abra o mar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Noel Perez hit a great ball. Leandro Heidemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Heidemann made a kick off. Leandro Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Tepedino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Noel Perez in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alvi Verde's Giovanni Hermes. Leandro Heidemann took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Tepedino. Tato Vegas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Téo Leite to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 66 minutes, Loco Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Orange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth was substituted for Rodolfo Perfecto. Silvinho da Silveira made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alvi Verde's Giovanni Hermes. 80 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's Peker Suersan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tato Vega. After 88 played minutes, Alvi Verde's Attila Kiss shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandro Tepedino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvi Verde reached it. Leandro Heidemann scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Bebeto Pimenta got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Attila Kiss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Tepedino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Alvi Verde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
