Juarês Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from He Xiao Ao went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. He Xiao Ao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juarês Corrêa came out and tried to block the shot, but He Xiao Ao slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 11th minute. In the 13th match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB's He Xiao Ao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juarês Corrêa. Juarês Corrêa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 18 minutes into the match, He Xiao Ao notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Juarês Corrêa. Juarês Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 21 minutes, He Xiao Ao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but He Xiao Ao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If He Xiao Ao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the 27 de Mayo defense, He Xiao Ao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês Corrêa. The 27 de Mayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês Corrêa should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 11-0 when He Xiao Ao sped through 27 de Mayo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juarês Corrêa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê de Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juarês Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. If Liu Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Liu Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Borussia Dortmund MZB had played much better football throughout.
