LOS BUITRES's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cano in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LOS BUITRES's Truman Harrington. Truman Harrington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the LOS BUITRES defense, Dorian Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Truman Harrington. The LOS BUITRES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Truman Harrington should have stopped the shot. LOS BUITRES's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Moraes in the 37th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Xavier Salazar sped through Marquês de Herval's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Carl Åberg was slow to take the kick. During this time LOS BUITRES's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Laurence Suggs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 66 minutes into the match, LOS BUITRES's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Cano in the 75th minute of play forced LOS BUITRES's goalkeeper Truman Harrington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
