Liu Zhi might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raí Bertassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liu Zhi ran back to his position shaking his head. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Zhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Liu Zhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Liu Zhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sune Bergdal went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Xiao Ao in the 36th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Clemente Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Bergdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Adhemar Furlan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Liu Zhi's late challenge caught a 27 de Mayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liu Zhi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liu Zhi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Borussia Dortmund MZB were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedê de Senna was the one to do the kick off. Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sune Bergdal went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 27 de Mayo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Liu Zhi scored to the left of an out of position Raí Bertassi, making the score, 0-9. In the 64th minute, Liu Zhi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Ronaldão Jaafari was substituted for Ye Feng Feng. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Edinho Alcântara was substituted for Wictor Carlsson. In the 68th minute Liu Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Sune Bergdal sent off a good shot on target. Raí Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Xiao Ao in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB's He Xiao Ao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. 80 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Jaafari came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save 27 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Jaafari notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. He Xiao Ao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Raí Bertassi made a huge save. 27 de Mayo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Edinho Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Raí Bertassi, making the score, 0-14.
