Anton Parov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerke Krupp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Luca Savini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Sofoklis Siamantouras made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stellenbosch's Pedro Pelayo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC GAZprom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Diego Salvagnin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pedro Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GAZprom. Pedro Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Cheng Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. FC GAZprom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Fidel Martxelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Anton Parov made a huge save. After 61 minutes of play, FC GAZprom's Sofoklis Siamantouras made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Pelayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stellenbosch made a substitution. Flóki Cabezudo replaced Fidel Martxelin. Anton Parov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Gora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Diego Salvagnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Laureano Gora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stellenbosch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. The FC GAZprom fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stellenbosch had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
