A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Julian Raymundo hit a great ball. Anibal Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Hug having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Julian Raymundo could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Isaias Hug however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute, Mariano Pavone made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Txatxu. Q. T. I.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Isaias Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lluques in the 33rd minute of play. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Q. T. I.'s Horacio Dolfo was substituted for Leopoldo Vermudo. Eleuterio Nuno hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Lluques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fortin FC's Isaias Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 53rd minute of play. Isaias Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Lorenz in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Maximino Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Anibal Lluques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Hug. Fortin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Lluques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Isaias Hug came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Q. T. I.'s Maximino Lorenz. But to his dismay, Maximino Lorenz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Fortin FC made a substitution. Tobias Teyo replaced Elvio Hitzeder. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Teyo in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu got control of the ball when Mariano Pavone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lluques in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Fortin FC defense, Maximino Lorenz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Hug. The Fortin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Hug should have stopped the shot. Isaias Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Lorenz in the 91st minute of play. Hipolito Vincente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Txatxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Maximino Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Isaias Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Q. T. I.. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Q. T. I. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fortin FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
