Nestor Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulius Rožėnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Stenström made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by América-SC F.C.'s Erasmo dos Santos. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mar Cheze in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulius Rožėnas in the 24th minute of play forced América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Mattos to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes América-SC F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mar Cheze who took care of the corner kick. In the 41st minute Adolfo Brandão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

América-SC F.C. made a substitution. Kobe Haaland replaced Eliézer Azevedo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulius Rožėnas made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Mar Cheze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 88th minute, Paulius Rožėnas made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Quirino. América-SC F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After 92 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elder Domingues. After 97 minutes, Miglius Simonaitis made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Hexo Utd played a much better game than América-SC F.C. and deserved their victory. The América-SC F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
