With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atalay Turkay in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Atalay Turkay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaac Jonasson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomás Toscano. Thomás Toscano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 17 minutes Capibaribe Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Incendio who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Bernard Solarek to score against Thomás Toscano in Capibaribe Stars's goal. 2-0 after 17 minutes. Capibaribe Stars's Hicham Al Azka was substituted for Daşdämir Albändiyev. Isaac Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Hydén might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 43rd minute Henry Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Urbano came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
