The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, LEBEG Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ali Olgaç to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 6 minutes, Jean-Paul Møffelmand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Paul Møffelmand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's Delmiro Etxekopar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Barycz came free, but Thiago Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner. Jean-Paul Møffelmand went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Paul Møffelmand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Leiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ryszard Barycz made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Leiva. LEBEG Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thiago Leiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Barycz went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 31stth minute of the game Ryszard Barycz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after LEBEG Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Paul Møffelmand took the corner. 37 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Zapolski came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Paul Møffelmand. If Ryszard Barycz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Zapolski made a kick off. Delmiro Etxekopar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Nilson Peres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 57 played minutes LEBEG Team got a freekick which was hit by Angel Maura. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Thiago Leiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arturo Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Peres having to make a save. When Ryszard Barycz came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the ITAFUT 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Barycz couldn't finish the play. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Boguslaw Tarasek replaced Evelio Rico. ITAFUT 4EVER's João Vítor Porto was substituted for Niklas Bergdal. LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Baggio in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the LEBEG Team defense, Rodriguinho Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Leiva. The LEBEG Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Leiva should have stopped the shot. When ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LEBEG Team's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute of the match, Serginho Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilson Peres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rodriguinho Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Leiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilson Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Etxekopar in the 93rd minute.
ITAFUT 4EVER's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
