In the 8th minute Vivaldo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristopher Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, GynBsb's Kristopher Johnson threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vivaldo Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Fernandes in the 14th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Vivaldo Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Bertassi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fellipe Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Kristopher Johnson made a huge save. After some careless play in the GynBsb defense, Miroslav Klose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico Bertassi. The GynBsb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico Bertassi should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tiso Posse took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Kristopher Johnson to make any attempt to save it. After 46 minutes, Marco Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GynBsb and the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GynBsb getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marco Valle hit a great ball. The GynBsb players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslav Klose was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiso Posse in the 50th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiso Posse took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristopher Johnson. Kristopher Johnson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Frederico Bertassi was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Miroslav Klose capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miroslav Klose really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Ilídio Abrantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Medeiros's late challenge caught a GynBsb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Fabiano Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fellipe Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the GynBsb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Cosme couldn't finish the play. Frederico Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Miroslav Klose sent off a good shot on target. Frederico Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilídio Abrantes in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Vivaldo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. GynBsb's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristopher Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. made a substitution. José Guimarães replaced Gigel Durbac. In the 93rd minute, Diamantino Vilela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Klose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The GynBsb manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. to win.
