The tension between the Boedo Athletic. and the Northern California players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Boedo Athletic. got a freekick which was hit by Toni Holst. The audience was convinced that Bruno Marinetti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Schembri was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Carolo Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Schembri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 齐竞昆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Boedo Athletic.'s 齐竞昆 got control of the ball when Gustavo Isazi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 齐竞昆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Boedo Athletic. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carolo Videl hit a great ball. Jonathan Bernaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but 齐竞昆 made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Primo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Serafin Ilazki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern California's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Ilazki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 齐竞昆 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Serafin Ilazki came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Northern California fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Ilazki couldn't finish the play. When Jonathan Bernaldo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Northern California's protests and gave Jonathan Bernaldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Boedo Athletic. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoncio Mala to maneuver through the defense. Boedo Athletic.'s 齐竞昆 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Bernaldo in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Primo got free with David Schembri in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Carolo Videl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. David Schembri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Ilazki in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 齐竞昆 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Ilazki in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 齐竞昆 saved Boedo Athletic. from getting behind. Serafin Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 齐竞昆 having to interfere. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Leandro Chorche hit a great ball. The supporters of Northern California booed when Boedo Athletic. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leoncio Mala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Northern California got a corner. Boedo Athletic.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Guillelme ran over to the corner to take the kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
