Karl Kugler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tord Söderqvist went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 7 minutes GTV Ostsee's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Acácio de Andrade who took care of the corner kick. Tord Söderqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Kugler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Söderqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Tord Söderqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Kugler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tord Söderqvist sped through GTV Ostsee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl Kugler. GTV Ostsee's Karl Kugler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio de Andrade in the 17th minute of play forced GTV Ostsee's goalkeeper Karl Kugler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match S.C. Ferrari got a corner. GTV Ostsee's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Acácio de Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on S.C. Ferrari's corner Acácio de Andrade fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl Kugler quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Söderqvist came free, but Karl Kugler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferrari's Coronel Salgado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karl Kugler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Zhang Chang Yang managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when GTV Ostsee's Hugo Emmel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zhang Chang Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Kismi in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Söderqvist came free, but Karl Kugler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Acácio de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Gergely Bollobás replaced Tord Söderqvist. In the 42nd match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half S.C. Ferrari were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gergely Bollobás stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when GTV Ostsee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Popper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Karl Kugler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. S.C. Karl Kugler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Bollobás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gergely Bollobás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Kugler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. S.C. Ferrari's Valdomiro Teixeira was substituted for Sandrinho Machado. S.C. Ferrari's Patrick Angelsø was substituted for Bernardino Urtats. In the 70th minute of the match S.C. Ferrari got a corner.
