After some careless play in the Millonarios defense, Tord Söderqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lajos Toldi. The Millonarios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lajos Toldi should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tord Söderqvist in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lajos Toldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gürkan Gurko hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Zdzislaw Pincoski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Millonarios:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.C. Ferrari:s goal. Millonarios:s Lajos Toldi showed great skill when he stopped Tord Söderqvist:s penalty. Tord Söderqvist scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lajos Toldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Gergely Bollobás notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Millonarios's Lajos Toldi. Lajos Toldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Millonarios's Lajos Toldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Gergely Bollobás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lajos Toldi. Millonarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gergely Bollobás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gergely Bollobás to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Gergely Bollobás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Ferrari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Lajos Toldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Lajos Toldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 57th minute of the match. When S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Millonarios's goalie prevented a goal. Valdomiro Teixeira replaced Sandrinho Machado. Gergely Bollobás might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lajos Toldi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gergely Bollobás ran back to his position shaking his head. S.C. Ferrari's Patrick Angelsø was substituted for Bernardino Urtats. 69 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lajos Toldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match, Gergely Bollobás tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lajos Toldi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute of the match S.C. Ferrari got a corner. Millonarios's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Acácio de Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. S.C. Ferrari's Acácio de Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lajos Toldi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Gürkan Gurko with Fabricio James as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 76th minute Gergely Bollobás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Toldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Millonarios's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Acácio de Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Ferrari's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Acácio de Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lajos Toldi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Gergely Bollobás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lajos Toldi was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Lajos Toldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 91st minute of play. Lajos Toldi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás. But to his dismay, Gergely Bollobás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. The Millonarios fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.C. Ferrari were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
