The referee showed Hugo Emmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 52 minutes, Reese Otto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reese Otto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GTV Ostsee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daron Joseph was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 87th minute, Davis Duff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the GTV Ostsee defense, Leonardo Lane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Kugler. The GTV Ostsee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Kugler should have stopped the shot. Benicio Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GTV Ostsee's Ramon Kismi got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zamalek FC fully deserved thier win.
