The Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's Well-Well O'Connell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, Well-Well O'Connell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Reno. Millonarios's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when He Song scored to the left of an out of position Higinio Reno, making the score, 0-6. Millonarios's Higinio Reno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Millonarios from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ were awarded a corner. Romulo Esiquio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Lázaro Ugaitz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Millonarios's Higinio Reno did a great save. With a little luck, Millonarios's Higinio Reno got control of the ball when He Song tried to sneak it across the goal line. Millonarios's Higinio Reno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Song in the 82nd minute of play. Higinio Reno made an important save on a dangerous shot by He Song in the 84th minute. Lautaro Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Millonarios's Higinio Reno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Millonarios from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Millonarios defense, He Song kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Reno. The Millonarios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Reno should have stopped the shot. Higinio Reno made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when He Song sent off a good shot on target. İrfan Sancar might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Reno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İrfan Sancar ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Millonarios throughout the match.
