Murilo da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Guimarães in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Fesik in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Femke Bol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atlético Capixaba's Murilo da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Aydınoğlu in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Leopoldo de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Şakir Aydınoğlu got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Otto Fesik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Yuri Reis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Murilo da Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. Femke Bol came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Capixaba's Leopoldo de Almeida. But to his dismay, Leopoldo de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Guimarães in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the game Dadá Macedo made a throw-in which Lovro Gotovina played forward. If Cássio Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Yuri Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şakir Aydınoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Murilo da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Fesik came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Femke Bol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Fesik's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Murilo da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Reis in the 37th minute. If Yuri Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Reis made a kick off. In the 54th minute Yuri Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Bebeto Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Femke Bol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ikonom Kopchev. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Cristóvão Varela replaced Adam Curteanu. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Radowit Ciechocki hit a great ball. Carlos Augusto Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Femke Bol having to make a save. In the 70th minute of the match Figueira SC FSCMZ got a corner. Atlético Capixaba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malin Koshkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Reis in the 75th minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Murilo da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo de Almeida came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Ciechocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Femke Bol made a huge save. When Atlético Capixaba's Naldo Machado in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal.
