In the 27th minute Pastor Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Femke Bol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Moraes in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Figueira SC FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moussa Kabre was slow to take the kick. During this time Marquês de Herval's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Moussa Kabre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Femke Bol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 34th minute of play. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Marquês de Herval from getting a goal against them. Femke Bol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Martins's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dorian Moraes hit a great ball. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şakir Aydınoğlu in the 43rd minute of the match. Alfredo Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Femke Bol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. Cássio Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Martins made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Marquês de Herval's Femke Bol threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Martins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şakir Aydınoğlu in the 57th minute of the match. Cássio Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Moussa Kabre. In the 61st minute Cássio Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dadá Macedo hit a great ball. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 65th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Daniel Endura put in a rough tackle. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marquês de Herval! Dida Taffarel had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Malin Koshkov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 81 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Macedo. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Malin Koshkov got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şakir Aydınoğlu in the 86th minute of play. Lovro Gotovina kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Dorian Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Femke Bol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Guimarães hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Figueira SC FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
