Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, David Seaman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Vergílio in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Raphael Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Vergílio in the 99th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jenipapo SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's performance. The match ended with a win for S.E.R.
