Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. Andreas Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Fantini in the 15th minute of the match. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Andreas Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Dale Dolar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Amílton Loyola hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mats Hermansson made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hugo Eden however managed to control. Dale Dolar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Lindqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Abdi Revis replaced Hugo Eden. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 56th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Barcellos Mineiro FC got a corner. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amílton Loyola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dale Dolar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Lindqvist. Andreas Lindqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jorge Carrascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Andreas Lindqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Amílton Loyola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernan Berart, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Vykans Vikingar's attentive Börje Stål managed to snatch the ball when Amílton Loyola made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Patricio Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Carrascal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Andreas Lindqvist made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Revis came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
