Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ingvar Strand kicked off to start the match. If Alfredo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Cássio Corinth made a huge save. Red John S.K's attentive Henrique Ramalho managed to snatch the ball when Toby Major made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Lorenzo Mendebal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Strand in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ingvar Strand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red John S.K's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Strand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes Marquês de Herval's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denílson Lopes who took care of the corner kick. Red John S.K's Denílson Lopes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dida Taffarel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfredo Martins in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Corinth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th minute Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner. Moussa Kabre went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gaston Gonzalez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth did a great save. 36 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Moraes. In the 38th minute, Dorian Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Corinth. Red John S.K's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Dida Taffarel came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Red John S.K's Ingvar Strand. But to his dismay, Ingvar Strand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 48 minutes, Toby Major mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marquês de Herval and the Red John S.K players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toby Major kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.
After having played for 53 minutes, Ingvar Strand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red John S.K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Strand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Red John S.K made a substitution. Sebastian Bach replaced Ingvar Strand. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bach, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alfredo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquês de Herval's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Corinth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Sebastian Bach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dida Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toby Major to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Corinth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 88th minute of play. Dorian Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cássio Corinth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Red John S.K's zone, Alfredo Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Corinth came out of the goal and Alfredo Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marquês de Herval had played much better football throughout.
