Aurelio Walme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Medeiros in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Lei Feng Yan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gláuber Tande made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Breno Vergílio however managed to control. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Owsiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Skoog didn't get a good kick on the ball.
