The crowd rose to their feet as PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arlindo Guedes. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Arlindo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betão de Brito in the 18th minute. Isaac Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 23rd minute of play. Isaac Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mari Balotelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turgut Soyuer got free with Arlindo Guedes in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Iuri Falcão in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PREZULO FC's Ferhat Sertuğ. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mari Balotelli in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Turgut Soyuer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes. Arlindo Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turgut Soyuer was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Iuri Falcão hit a great ball. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Turgut Soyuer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 65 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Bueno came free, but Isaac Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lopez to maneuver through the defense. AF CERRADO's Felix Smits was substituted for Carlos Alberto Jacinto. PREZULO FC's Rob Lute was substituted for Mari Balotelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 75th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by AF CERRADO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferhat Sertuğ was slow to take the kick. During this time PREZULO FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Celsinho Perez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arlindo Guedes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Antônio Carlos Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Ferreira was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
