Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. Tiaguinho Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 16th minute of the match. If Jerônimo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Dragoş Vâtcu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alysson Rezende. Dragoş Vâtcu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Róbson Couto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Alysson Rezende when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Trindade Atlético Club's Tiaguinho Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Zimmermann in the 31st minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dragoş Vâtcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alysson Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Korhan Kutalmış threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ogro F.C.'s Patrick Matorin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 48 minutes Trindade Atlético Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerônimo Vergílio who took care of the corner kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Cavalera to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the game Fulgencio Rius made a throw-in which Aaron Cortez played forward. 54 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cavalera came free, but Tiaguinho Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Trindade Atlético Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korhan Kutalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cavalera came free, but Tiaguinho Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Vâtcu in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Trindade Atlético Club's Tiaguinho Correia got control of the ball when Jerônimo Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ogro F.C.'s Mike Mangini was substituted for Dan Zimmermann. Trindade Atlético Club's Johann Depay was substituted for Aaron Cortez. Tiaguinho Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Mangini, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Mike Mangini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johann Depay in the 93rd minute of play. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Vâtcu in the 95th minute of the match. Mike Mangini struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tiaguinho Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. The Trindade Atlético Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ogro F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Ogro F.C..
