Dennis Contaldi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AF CERRADO's corner Dennis Contaldi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcus Ekrot quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Mutumba made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Eden in the 51st minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Marcus Ekrot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
