After a defensive mix-up in Kranji Crunchy's zone, Bo Cantona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aras Sophian came out of the goal and Bo Cantona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jagacitra Indo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Börje Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Sophian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gofar Pohan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luka Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gofar Pohan took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Navarro Montoya to make any attempt to save it. Aras Sophian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Cantona in the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gofar Pohan.
