Davi Dal Bello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper Jörg Wagner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dal 3ello's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Davi Dal Bello in the 11th minute. Igor Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devran Aktürk in the 19th minute of the match. Lamine Lassaigne took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Taffarel. Igor Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Igor Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Setzinger in the 25th minute of the match. If Davi Dal Bello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper Jörg Wagner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davi Dal Bello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Setzinger in the 37th minute of play forced Dal 3ello's goalkeeper Igor Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Springer made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Martin Fourcade immediately put the ball in play. 42 minutes into the match, Dal 3ello's goal looked a bit too open when Devran Aktürk came free, but Igor Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Andrej Kramarić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Dal 3ello's Ronaldo Dal Bello was substituted for Leopoldo Loureiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Dal Bello in the 54th minute of play forced ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper Jörg Wagner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Lamine Lassaigne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Taffarel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jörg Wagner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Dal Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dal 3ello's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Andrej Kramarić scored to the left of an out of position Igor Taffarel, making the score, 0-2. Jörg Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Dal Bello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörg Wagner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Dal Bello's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Devran Aktürk struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Igor Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Bjarte Sæverud was substituted for Devran Aktürk. After some careless play in the Dal 3ello defense, Andrej Kramarić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Taffarel. The Dal 3ello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Igor Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjarte Sæverud, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute Gio Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
