When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Zigmantas Gimbutas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Henrique Prata to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pedrão Prata came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laçın Cumayev could save by the left post. If Zigmantas Gimbutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
