The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Darryl Buckner came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Buckner couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Charamut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Buckner in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darryl Buckner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wawrzyniec Charamut having to make a save. In the 19th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wawrzyniec Charamut was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leopoldo Rosa. The audience was convinced that Darryl Buckner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wawrzyniec Charamut was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Jenaro in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Placido Jenaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Darryl Buckner came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Buckner couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Charamut saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. If Abelardo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darryl Buckner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Victoriano Bernaldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd minute, Felix Asier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo got control of the ball when Paul Gheară tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Wawrzyniec Charamut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Boedo Vengo's goalie prevented a goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudio Cerritos in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leopoldo Rosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wawrzyniec Charamut quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 68 minutes of play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wawrzyniec Charamut was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in De Boedo Vengo's zone, Darryl Buckner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Charamut came out of the goal and Darryl Buckner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Buckner in the 78th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darryl Buckner might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Charamut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darryl Buckner ran back to his position shaking his head. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darryl Buckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Walter San Juan. De Boedo Vengo's Paul Gheară got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Buckner in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of De Boedo Vengo for a fine match.
